On February 3 and 4, 2020 the representatives of Sredazenergosetproekt JSC (abbreviated as SAESP), a design and survey institute for the power industry facilities of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited RUE Belenergosetprojekt. SAESP is a member of the Association of the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) design organizations that are former branches of the All-Union Institute Energosetproekt.

Guests discussed the experience of digital substations designs, the implementation of the switchgear at the Belarusian energy system facilities, and the protection of intellectual property at a meeting with the management of our company. Foreign experts spoke about the work of their design organization, their interest being the use of CAD in the design of relay protection and emergency automation of power facilities.

After the official meeting, the specialists from Uzbekistan talked with colleagues from the departments of substations, relay protection and automation, metering and quality of electricity and discussed those problematic issues that are solved by the specialists of their design organization.

In prior agreement with the management of Minsk Cable Networks, a branch of RUE Minskenergo, the representatives of SAESP visited Podlesnaya substation in order to estimate the results of our designers' work. At the substation the guests noted the effective design solutions developed by our experts for the reconstruction of the existing substation being held in cramped urban conditions.

The colleagues from the Republic of Uzbekistan warmly thanked the management and the employees of RUE Belenergosetprojekt and Minsk Cable Networks for the opportunity to share design experience and proposed to meet again and discuss cooperation issues of our organizations.
