Tangent multisided supports for 330 kV power line were designed and installed in the Republic of Belarus for the first time.
The engineers of RUE Belenergosetprojekt applied this design solution in order to replace POM-330 supports of 330 kV CHPP-4 - Kolyadichi power line in Minsk. The project was developed in accordance with the instructions of Minsk Electric Power Networks Organisation.
The multisided supports for the 330 kV power line mentioned above were selected due to the following criteria: transportation convenience, reduced land acquisition costs, reduced number of supports for the constructed power line, their durability and vandal resistance.
All four new supports installed in Loshitsa city district have an aesthetic appearance and harmoniously fit into the urban environment.
